is my stained glass piece safe in my house?

all stained glass pieces are known to contain a certain amount of lead, whether it be from lead came (commonly used to border the stained glass piece) or from the amount of lead in the solder applied to seal the glass together (typically 60% tin & 40% lead solder is used).

while lead is only hazardous if inhaled or ingested, it is advisable to keep these products out of reach of children and pets. as a precautionary measure, remember to wash your hands after handling them.
